The Cascapedia River Museum looks forward to many exciting possibilities and challenges in the future. In this exceptional environment, projects such as exhibition development, collections management, and information exchanges with other museums will be pursued. We plan to increase our efforts in the research and education-related areas as well.

Although we have realized many of our dreams, we know that there is still much more work to be done. Our mandate to collect, preserve and educate only increases our awareness of this magnificent river and the necessity to continue this work. We feel very strongly that there is so much more that could be done to bring our history to life and with the encouragement and dedication of all those who have an interest in the river and this project, we will succeed in our endeavours.

The Cascapedia River Museum is a Canadian non profit registered charity and is associated with the Friends of the Cascapedia Inc, in New York, also a non-profit exempt organization recognized by the American Internal Revenue Services (IRS) as a 501(c) (3) therefore, donations to the Museum are tax deductible.

To assist in the long term future of the Cascapedia River Museum, the Board of Directors have established the Cascapedia River Museum Trust Fund which is administered by the Fondation Communautaire Gaspesie-Les Isles, who is a member of the Community Foundations of Canada. Revenues from this investment will help underwrite the cost of operating the Museum and will help guarantee its long term future. You have a chance to make a real difference to guarantee its future. The Museum will be a lasting tribute to our community and the anglers who shared the Atlantic salmon fishing experience on this world famous river. Take a moment to reflect on our proud past, and the necessity to safeguard its future.
